Scooter Down – Loop Ride
Marshall Ave/Lake Street Bridge → Marshall Ave/Lake Street Bridge
Ride Overview
It was one of those sunny afternoons where the breeze kept things comfortable without slowing you down. Everyone showed up rocking their favorite NFL colors, so the whole ride had this playful, game-day vibe. We kicked it off at Annie Young Meadow, hanging out and catching up before rolling out as a crew.
The loop had a little bit of everything: riverside trails, shady parks, a good food stop, and some cool historic spots. The pace stayed easy, with plenty of chances to pause, snap photos, and just enjoy the ride together. It felt more like a moving hangout than a workout — exactly what I wanted.
Route Details
We started at the Marshall Ave/Lake Street Bridge and cruised over to Annie Young Meadow. After that warm-up stop, we slid down to Gateway Park, where skateboarders were carving it up and adding some energy to the ride. From there, the path tucked into green space — Hidden Falls and Crosby Farm Regional Park gave us shady trees, river views, and that calm nature vibe.
Eventually we worked our way out to Lucky 13 for food and drinks, which hit the spot after cruising through the parks. After recharging, we rolled toward Fort Snelling, soaking in the big open grounds, then made our way to the John H. Stevens House to wrap up the history tour. Finally, we looped back to the bridge where it all began.
